ActivInspire 1.4 Maintenance Release (received 6-16-2010)
· The error message 'Unable to find sound recording software' was displayed when the sound recorder was launched. This affected only some Lenovo (R400) and Dell Latitude (E5500) computers. This is now resolved.
· The toolbar disappeared in some projector usage scenarios. The toolbar now remains on screen when the user attaches a projector to the computer they are using.
· Rounding errors found using the ActivInspire calculator are resolved.
· Page links in flipcharts created in Studio now work as expected.
· ActivInspire no longer crashes when using word seed.
· Text strings inside shapes are no longer truncated.
· In the ActivInspire dashboard, the 'Training and Support' link now directly connects to the ActivLearning area of Planet.
· Windows 7 virtual keyboard is now being picked up by ActivInspire
The patch release can be accessed through the following routes:
· Existing Users: In ActivInspire, select Help and click ‘Check for Updates’. You will be informed that there is an update available. Download the update file. Once downloaded, double click on it and click through the install process.
· New Users: Download ActivInspire 1.4 from Planet. Once installed, open ActivInspire, select Help and click ‘Check for Updates’. You will be informed that there is an update available. Download the update file. Once downloaded, double click on it and click through the install process.
